John Eric Hawkins - Fine Art Photography | John Eric Hawkins | Where I Travel | Kofa Wilderness -49
Morning Light and spectacular clouds combine to provide a wonderful moment in the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge. The mountains behind contain The King of Arizona (Kofa) mine. This area early on was a preserve for Desert Bighorn Sheep and also, in an apparent contradiction, a tank and bombing range for WW2 military exercises. It is now the 2cnd largest wilderness area in Arizona.
