Saddle Mountain is a wonderful area just west of Phoenix, Arizona. A great place to boondock and get some needed rest and relaxation. One morning I hiked to the back side of this area and the morning light joined with the saguaros and rugged volcanic outcroppings for a beautiful moment. I set up the camera and right when I hit the shutter I heard the buzz of a hummingbird. At the side of the saguaro, in perfect focus, this small bird was ariel posing.
